Saint Peter The Apostle

St Peter's real name was Simon. Born in Syria, Roman Empire. Simon was a fisherman before he followed Jesus.  He died as a martyr, probably was crucified.

Saint Peter's feast days: 29 June, 30 June, 16 Jan., 29 Jan., 12 and 13 July.

He is often portrayed with two keys - golden and silver.



This card was glued by my sister on a page of her RE notebook, a long time ago.
